What you will do

• Identify patients and verify test requisitions to ensure accuracy.
• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks using aseptic techniques.
• Maintain specimen integrity and track collections in quality-control logs.
• Resolve unusual test orders by coordinating with physicians and nursing staff.
• Manage patient reports and handle billing inquiries.
• Coordinate specimen pickups with courier services.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy Certificate (if required by state)
• Ability to work onsite in Springfield, MO
• Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy and security training within 30 days of hire
