What you will do

• Assist faculty and staff with designing and implementing asynchronous and synchronous online courses and standalone academic training.
• Develop new education curriculum (courses, content, and materials) and translate existing content into new delivery formats.
• Assess training needs, design instruction, and implement follow-up evaluation of courses and curriculum.
• Provide ongoing instructional design and technical expertise for web-based projects and online learning opportunities.
• Conceptualize and deploy design options/programs, and assess education technology products for effectiveness.
• Manage projects with tracking and may serve as a lead or mentor to other staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of training authoring tools and graphics/multimedia applications (e.g., Articulate 360: Storyline and Rise; video authoring tools such as Camtasia or Adobe Captivate).
• Experience gathering, organizing, and analyzing information to develop training solutions and define goals, objectives, and delivery methods.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment in both lead and subordinate roles.
• Must be able to travel to the Rochester, MN campus at the start of employment and as needed thereafter.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship; no F-1 STEM OPT extension participation.
