Salary: $129,400–$198,400

What you will do

• Architect and maintain virtual cloud platforms supporting embedded software development and automated validation.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements for cloud applications and co-simulation environments.
• Develop automation workflows for deployment, execution, and maintenance of cloud-based simulation.
• Integrate automation capabilities within CI/CD frameworks to support regression testing.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud applications, virtualization, and test automation.
• Provide technical demonstrations and updates to leadership and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud applications, virtualization, co-simulation, or embedded software development.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; GM does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
• Strong expertise in C, C++, Python, Java, SystemC, Quarkus, SpringBoot, and CAPL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep).
• Experience with messaging and event-driven technologies (Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs).

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant engineering field.
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with automotive development tools like Vector CANape/CANoe or dSpace.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding workflows (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude-based tooling).
