Software Development Engineer (Azure)

Location: Hybrid across hirify.global sites in Folsom, California; Phoenix, Arizona; Santa Clara, California; or Hillsboro, Oregon. US citizenship is required.

Annual salary: $100,550–$194,270 USD

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Build scalable APIs and backend services.
• Implement security best practices across Azure cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Create and execute manual and automated test plans and suites.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM field.
• At least 2 years of direct experience building cloud solutions on Azure.
• At least 1 year of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
• Experience with Azure database services, web services or microservices, data architecture, or container technologies such as Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Active US Government Security Clearance at Secret level or higher.
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant STEM field.
• Experience with C#/.NET Core, REST APIs, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, GraphQL, Key Vault, and Playwright or similar cloud testing frameworks.
