Lead Analyst (Fintech)

Location: On-site in New York

Salary: $165,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Own the growth measurement framework, defining success metrics, guardrails, and targets for major growth initiatives.
• Build and maintain the analytical layer for market scorecards and growth ROI reporting for leadership and the Board.
• Develop marketplace models, including restaurant composite scoring, neighborhood targeting, and lifecycle value models.
• Establish a rigorous experimentation framework for causal measurement and A/B testing.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to instrument initiatives and analyze results.
• Create lightweight tooling and automation to speed up analysis and reduce manual reporting.

Requirements

• 8+ years in analytics, data science, growth analytics, or quantitative strategy, ideally in a high-growth marketplace or fintech.
• Expert SQL and strong proficiency in Python or R for modeling, segmentation, and complex query optimization.
• Proven track record of turning messy data into business decisions that move core metrics.
• Deep experience with A/B testing and causal measurement methods such as incrementality and holdouts.
• Fluency in marketplace unit-economics concepts including TPV, retention, LTV, and ROI.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in New York.

Nice to have

• Experience building BI environments or using dbt.
• Background in management consulting or corporate strategy.
• Experience with incentive design, pricing, or paid-acquisition measurement.
• Familiarity with the restaurant industry or crypto and token-based loyalty economics.
