What you will do

• Build AI-assisted, agentic development experiences spanning the full tech stack including React, Go, Python, and Java.
• Author technical and design specifications for holistic system architecture and implement critical code.
• Partner directly with developers building Snowflake Apps to translate needs into features and improvements.
• Raise the bar for quality, reliability, and performance through code reviews and mentorship.
• Coordinate closely with sister teams such as Cortex AI, Container Platform, and Security.

Requirements

• Must be based in Toronto, Canada
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack software development with a track record of shipping high-scale systems.
• Deep understanding of modern web application architecture, API design, security, and performance.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, with additional experience in Go, Python, or Java.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to drive consensus across engineering, design, and product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping 0-1 products balancing feature completeness and time-to-market.
• Experience with multi-tenant systems and developer tooling with a security-first posture.
• Technical leadership experience as an architect or tech lead for customer-facing products.
