What you will do

• Serve as the technical accounting authority for complex revenue transactions and New Product Offerings (NPI).
• Review and assess complex customer contracts, including SaaS, managed services, and consumption-based pricing.
• Partner with Legal, Deal Desk, and Sales to translate ASC 606 standards into actionable commercial options during negotiations.
• Prepare technical account memoranda and research emerging accounting guidance to recommend policy updates.
• Advise executive leadership on the revenue implications of strategic transactions.
• Lead and develop a team of revenue accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and publicly traded SaaS or technology companies.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 and technical accounting for complex software/SaaS business models.
• Must be based in or able to work from Dublin, CA or Menlo Park, CA.
• Experience with SFDC, Workday, and revenue accounting systems.
• Strong experience leading and mentoring high-performing accounting teams.
