Systems Engineer Senior (Aerospace)

Systems Engineer Senior (Aerospace): Designing and developing integration and test systems for motion control solutions in the space and defense sector with an accent on systems architecture, interface definition, and requirements validation. Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY; preference for relocation to Cambridge, MA. If relocation is not possible, onsite in East Aurora, NY with approximately 50% travel expected.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 Annually

What you will do

• Provide systems architecture, interface definition, and requirements validation for internal program teams.
• Create system-level models and simulations to support solution architectures throughout development.
• Lead the design process and provide technical leadership within the program scope.
• Develop and maintain test plans, analysis cases, and test scripts for systems and subsystems.
• Ensure traceability between test/analysis cases and requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and represent the company's technical reputation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar systems or design engineering role.
• Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Proficiency with requirements management tools, preferably DOORS.
• Strong technical written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in the US or be able to relocate to Cambridge, MA, Buffalo, NY, or East Aurora, NY.

• Master’s Degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Ability to relocate to Cambridge, MA.
