What you will do
- Maintain and manage the electronic component lifecycle database and address obsolete parts.
- Act as the technical interface between suppliers and internal design engineering teams.
- Establish and maintain a specification system for off-the-shelf electrical parts.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure component standardization and reliability.
- Coordinate failure analysis and corrective activities for component parts.
- Develop guidelines and procedures for vendor selection and supplier change management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in component engineering or supply chain.
- U.S. Person status required due to ITAR/EAR compliance.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer.
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis methods and engineering disciplines.
- Ability to work onsite in Simi Valley, CA.
