Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Avid Technology Professionals is hiring for a software engineering role supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

What you will do

• Develop secure full-stack solutions using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Integrate corporate authentication services into full-stack applications.
• Build solutions that process and deliver large data sets.
• Develop services within a microservices framework and implement local caching services.
• Design and maintain ETL workflows.
• Support containerized and orchestrated deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four additional years of comparable software engineering experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
• Experience working in an Agile software environment.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, microservices, ETL, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of commercial cloud services, preferably AWS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Go, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with Vue, MinIO, ClickHouse, Graphite, or library development.
