Pricing Analyst 1 (Fund Valuation)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; hybrid schedule with at least four full days each week in an hirify.global office

What you will do

• Provide independent security pricing and valuation oversight for public and private fund vehicles.
• Obtain security prices from approved sources and verify daily quotes using secondary sources.
• Review variance and exception reports and maintain the portfolio database and fund holdings validation.
• Document good faith pricing procedures, pricing issues, and periodic reporting requirements.
• Prepare fund audit reports and respond to queries from accounting, compliance, audit, investment, risk, legal, and operations stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with pricing vendors to resolve pricing issues.

Requirements

• At least one year of finance, accounting, or economics experience in the securities or investment industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles applied to daily pricing and reporting.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills for handling pricing issues and working with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience or knowledge related to foreign currency translations, futures, options, swaps, and corporate actions.

Nice to have

• CFA designation or progress toward the designation.
