What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate hardware performance.
• Perform functional, performance, and stress testing on hardware components.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and assist in debugging.
• Generate detailed test reports upon completion of testing cycles.
• Enhance and maintain the team's automated test suite to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with design engineers to align on product test requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in hardware validation, characterization, or test automation.
• Proficiency in C# and Python for automation software development.
• Hands-on experience testing laser-based telecommunication equipment.
• Working knowledge of test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, and traffic generators.
• Familiarity with pluggable optical modules like OSFP, QSFP-DD, and SFP.
• Experience leveraging AI and Generative AI tools to accelerate engineering productivity.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hirify.global networking equipment.
• Experience interfacing software with test equipment via Ethernet or GPIB.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile tools like Jira.
