TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Washington, D.C. or the immediate surrounding area; in-office presence required.

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute U.S. public policy and advocacy priorities in alignment with global strategies.
  • Represent the company before federal agencies, congressional committees, and industry associations.
  • Lead internal task forces on government relations and National Electric Code (NEC) standards.
  • Manage external consultants, negotiate deliverables, and oversee advocacy budgets.
  • Advise senior management on political, regulatory, and market developments impacting business growth.
  • Build and maintain professional networks with policymakers, regulators, and advocacy organizations.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).
  • Bachelor's degree in law, political science, business, or policy.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in government affairs, public policy, or regulatory strategy.
  • Proven ability to represent organizations in Washington, D.C. or major policy environments.
  • Strong understanding of federal legislative and regulatory processes.
  • Ability to travel extensively, including regular travel to Washington, D.C. and periodic international travel.

Nice to have

  • Experience with trade policy, energy regulation, or manufacturing advocacy.
  • International experience or multilingual capability.
