What you will do
- Review, draft, and negotiate vendor, consultant, outsourcing, TOBAS, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Apply risk-calibrated legal review under outsourcing and operational resilience frameworks, including PRA, FCA, EIOPA, Solvency II, and DORA requirements.
- Work with procurement, information security, data protection, risk, and business stakeholders to align contractual terms with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor UK and Ireland regulatory developments affecting third-party risk, outsourcing, and operational resilience, and prepare practical business briefings.
- Own and maintain TPRM legal templates, outsourcing and DORA clauses, and negotiation playbooks.
- Maintain contract status records, risk logs, and regulatory trackers while improving TPRM legal processes.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in England and Wales with at least 1 year of PQE, or an experienced paralegal with relevant commercial contract experience.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to develop expertise in, financial services and insurance regulatory frameworks relevant to outsourcing and third-party risk.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and summarization skills, with the ability to manage high contract volumes.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and confidence managing template libraries and structured processes.
- Ability to communicate directly with procurement, risk, information security, and business stakeholders.
