Salary: $105,900 - $180,000 Annually

What you will do

• Develop novel plasma etch and deposition technologies for current and future customer demands.
• Generate new hardware and process concepts using commercial simulation software.
• Conduct hands-on process development and hardware testing.
• Analyze process integration challenges for 3D Advanced Packaging, Photonics, and Specialty applications.
• Advise end users on system performance and present technical data in review seminars.
• Generate new process solutions and IP submissions based on detailed mechanism modelling.

Requirements

• PhD in chemistry, physics, materials science, or semiconductor technology (or Master's with 3 years experience, or Bachelor's with 5 years experience).
• Relevant experience working with plasma etch, CVD, PVD, or ALD equipment.
• Strong analytical skills including proficiency in metrology techniques such as SEM.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships and presenting technical data.
• Knowledge of end point techniques.

Nice to have

• Experience with plasma modelling, ideally HPEM.
• Proficiency with COMSOL, ANSYS, Quantamol, or equivalent simulation packages.
• Experience with DOE (Design of Experiments) methodologies.
