Application Support Engineer - IRESS Xplan (Xplan): Supporting and enhancing the IRESS Xplan platform with an accent on maintaining solutions, delivering configuration changes, and improving workflows and reporting. Focus on end-to-end lifecycle work for Xplan enhancements, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement with strong data accuracy and stakeholder communication.
Location: Glasgow - Hybrid working (2 days per week in the office)
Salary: Basic salary up to £77k

What you will do
- Maintain and improve IRESS Xplan solutions, including configuration changes and workflow enhancements.
- Develop and support reporting capabilities by creating and improving Xplan reports and templates.
- Work across the full lifecycle of Xplan changes: requirements, enhancements, deployments, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with business analysts, application engineers, data teams, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable platform outcomes.
- Use structured problem-solving to resolve incidents and improve data accuracy and quality.
Requirements
- Strong experience supporting, developing, and maintaining IRESS Xplan solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Xplan configuration, workflows, and platform enhancements.
- Experience developing solutions using Xmerge, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience creating and improving IRESS Xplan reports and templates.
- Exposure to reporting/data tools including Power BI, Alteryx, and/or Snowflake.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in an agile environment.
