Consultant, Application Packaging (Citrix)

Location: Toronto, ON; Toronto-81 Bay, 14th Floor. Regular business hours; the proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview, and attendance at meetings across different locations may be required.

What you will do

• Oversee the full lifecycle of application packaging requests, including effort estimates, validation, scheduling, prioritization, and completion.
• Prepare, customize, test, deploy, retire, and clean up software packages across SCCM, ServiceNow, endpoints, and Citrix Workspace.
• Collaborate with business partners, project teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver application packages.
• Enforce security, compliance, operational, and packaging standards.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues, protect test environment integrity, mitigate risks, and recommend solutions for complex initiatives.
• Identify process improvements and implement automation within the packaging environment.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience with Windows Installer and MSI packaging, App-V, VMware ThinApp, MSIX, Citrix XenApp for application virtualization, PowerShell, SCCM, and Windows 11.
• Strong knowledge of business dynamics, including the ability to analyze risks, protect test environment integrity, and recommend solutions for complex initiatives.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills for managing multiple requests and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to collaborate with business partners, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work regular business hours and attend meetings across different locations when required.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
