What you will do

• Design and ship Copilot and agentic features, integrating LLM workflows into the planning and tracking experience.
• Build and maintain performant user experiences that millions of developers use daily.
• Write, review, and maintain code primarily in JavaScript (React, TypeScript) and Ruby (Rails).
• Create architecture briefs, proposals, and prototypes to solve foundational scaling challenges.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to foster team growth.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leads to define technical roadmaps and business priorities.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 4-6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software in languages such as JavaScript, Ruby, Go, or Python.
• Strong proficiency in fullstack development with a tilt towards frontend.
• Ability to write architecture proposals and build prototypes for planetary-scale systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Experience with cloud environments and Cloud Native Compute Foundation (CNCF) concepts.
