What you will do
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics on flight-critical actuators returned from service.
- Complete strip and rebuild procedures for actuators using new components.
- Compile survey reports and manage requests for replacement parts.
- Inspect component parts using precision measuring equipment such as micrometres and vernier callipers.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
- Conduct quality audits and manage the release to service for repaired actuators.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Wolverhampton, GBR.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
- Proven experience in assembly and testing of mechanical components.
- Ability to work to exceptionally close tolerances.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and interpreting technical documentation.
