Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end underwriting pipeline from initial review to final approval.
• Analyze risk factors against guidelines to make defensible investment decisions.
• Perform detailed reviews of property titles to identify and cure liens or encumbrances.
• Conduct appraisal reviews to evaluate property condition and value concerns.
• Analyze loan modifications and trust documentation to confirm eligibility and lien positions.
• Collaborate with processing teams and homeowners to ensure files reach closing efficiently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience underwriting residential real estate or home equity products.
• Expertise in analyzing credit reports, title reports, appraisal reports, and deeds of trust.
• Strong knowledge of title curative processes and appraisal review methodologies.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar robust CRM/loan processing systems.
• Availability to work until 6pm PST is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high quality standards under QA review.
