What you will do

• Audit product UI to standardize artifacts and reduce inconsistency across the platform.
• Define the information architecture, naming, and taxonomy of the system for both human and AI agent usage.
• Develop and ship a scalable token strategy (color, typography, spacing) synced across Figma and Storybook.
• Partner with front-end engineers to build reusable, accessible components with clear APIs and states.
• Design and shape an AI-native pipeline that takes Figma frames or prompts through Cursor/Claude Code into validated components.
• Establish a lightweight contribution process and machine-readable documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• Proven experience owning a design system end-to-end at a product company, including adoption strategy.
• Deep fluency in design-to-code integration, token pipelines, and component versioning.
• Strong knowledge of modern front-end concepts and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design and development workflows (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code).
• Ability to set direction for peers and make opinionated decisions in ambiguous environments.
