Salary: $134,000 - $190,000

What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of reusable components, patterns, and interaction standards across multiple platforms.
• Translate complex, ambiguous design problems into scalable system solutions and detailed component behaviors.
• Partner with Design System Engineers, Front-End Engineers, and Product Managers to ensure seamless implementation.
• Experiment with and integrate generative AI tools to improve component creation, documentation, and team productivity.
• Establish governance models, contribution processes, and documentation standards for the Design System.
• Mentor designers across the organization in systems thinking, accessibility, and modern design workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Design experience with demonstrated expertise in Design Systems or scalable product experiences.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Variables, Component Properties, Auto Layout, and Dev Mode.
• Demonstrated fluency with generative AI tools and integrating them into design workflows.
• Strong understanding of modern front-end development principles, design tokens, and responsive design.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA for a hybrid work arrangement.
