Software Engineer (AI Platform)

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco or New York City). Must be based in or be able to work from the SF or NYC offices on anchor days (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays).

Salary: $180,000 - $201,000 per year

What you will do

• Prototype, develop, and scale core AI platform primitives and shared systems.
• Partner with product teams to provide paved paths and production-ready guardrails for faster AI feature shipping.
• Work across infrastructure, shared libraries, and APIs to make AI capabilities high-leverage across the company.
• Operate critical AI systems in production, using diagnostics to debug failures and improve latency and cost.
• Facilitate the safe adoption of new models and providers through versioning and controlled rollouts.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with applied AI product development, including prompting, evals, and model integrations.
• Proven track record of building and scaling data processing pipelines with Apache Spark or Ray.
• Full-stack experience within the TypeScript and Node.js ecosystem.
• Experience building MLOps and ML serving infrastructure.
