What you will do

• Enhance, monitor, and support underwriting logic and data within an instant decision platform.
• Conduct audits to monitor platform performance and review internal and third-party underwriting decisions.
• Analyze underwriting metrics and data to identify and recommend system improvements.
• Develop and iterate on the carrier implementation framework.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, UX, and Engineering teams to evolve product features.

Requirements

• 8+ years of production life insurance underwriting experience.
• 1+ years of experience with underwriting rules engines.
• Strong technical background with proficiency in data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with UAT and conducting underwriting audits.
• Understanding of the legal and compliance framework for life insurance.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (E-Verify used for confirmation)

Nice to have

• FALU, FLMI, or CLU certifications.
• Experience deploying modern AI utilities to automate administrative and analytical tasks.
