Frontend Engineer (Electron/React)

Location: On-site in New York City (5 days a week)

Salary: $180,000 – $275,000 + Equity

General Intuition is a frontier lab building large action and world models, leveraging Medal, the world's largest gaming clips platform.

What you will do

• Scale the platform to 100+ million users by building high-quality features for creators.
• Iterate quickly on features for the Electron app using React.
• Work directly with leadership and the gaming community to ship updates regularly.
• Optimize code performance and utilize profiling tools in production.
• Implement and measure results using A/B testing and usage metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in React, Redux, Node, and Electron.
• Must be based in New York City for 5 days/week in-office work.
• Strong understanding of code performance and profiling tools.
• Experience with result-driven development and A/B testing.
• Passion for gaming and gaming-adjacent products (e.g., Discord).

Nice to have

• Full-stack experience with Java, C#, or C++.
• Experience working on gaming-related projects.
