What you will do
- Lead pre-deployment validation of AI clinical tools and produce transparency model cards regarding intended use and limits.
- Build LLM evaluation datasets, conduct clinical red-teaming, and assess RAG fidelity.
- Administer clinical AI governance, including ethics, safety, regulatory compliance, and change control.
- Train clinicians to oversee AI tools and create SOPs and checklists for LLM use.
- Lead quality improvement efforts (RCA, FMEA, CAPA) and manage URAC/NCQA activities.
- Analyze clinical quality performance data to optimize member experience and cost efficiency within value-based care models.
Requirements
- MD/DO with active, unrestricted license.
- 3+ years of clinical practice and 2+ years in quality, patient safety, or clinical operations.
- Experience with clinical review of LLM outputs, building eval datasets, and RAG assessment.
- Expertise in QI methodologies such as PDSA, Lean/Six Sigma, RCA, FMEA, and CAPA.
- Working knowledge of URAC, NCQA, CMS, and familiarity with HEDIS/MIPS.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience building, deploying, and iterating clinical AI agents.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI, and basic SQL/statistics.
- Experience in virtual care, care navigation, and enterprise audits.
