What you will do
- Develop strategic account plans to drive sales, market share, and profitability.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with store owners, buyers, and key decision-makers.
- Partner with accounts to support merchandising, inventory management, and sales initiatives.
- Create accurate sales forecasts and business plans for assigned accounts.
- Monitor competitive activity, pricing, and industry trends to provide market feedback.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience managing independent or specialty retail accounts.
- Proven success in delivering sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience conducting in-store presentations, training programs, and business reviews.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including overnight travel.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
