What you will do

• Advise on the mitigation of price and volume risks for commodity contracts, including PPAs, tolling agreements, and customer deals.
• Develop commodity hedge proposals in collaboration with the Trade department.
• Perform risk assessments for business cases of new activities and products.
• Execute periodic stress tests and sensitivity analyses for commodity risks.
• Maintain and further develop Financial Risk Management (FRM) risk models.
• Monitor mandates and limits, escalating issues to the Commodity Risk Team and CFO.

Requirements

• Relevant completed Master's degree, preferably in a quantitative study.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quantitative commodity risk function.
• Knowledge of Financial Risk Management methods and techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of and experience in the Dutch energy market.
• Proficiency in Matlab and/or Python.
