Salary: $115,000–$184,000 per year

What you will do
- Own and execute the media strategy in Texas to drive proactive coverage and long-term credibility.
- Cultivate and maintain a robust network of reporters across transportation, technology, business, and policy beats.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site media visits in Texas, ensuring a high-quality reporter experience.
- Partner with executive leadership, government relations, and operations to align on messaging and announcements.
- Prepare and train company spokespeople for media interviews and press events.
- Develop press materials, including press releases, briefing documents, and tailored talking points.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in communications (agency or in-house) with a record of driving earned coverage.
- Deep expertise in media relations and an established network of reporters.
- Experience as a company spokesperson and training C-level executives.
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear and compelling narratives.
- Experience working cross-functionally to manage multi-stakeholder communications processes.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Dallas, Texas area.
Nice to have
- Experience in autonomous vehicles, transportation, logistics, or technology.
- Crisis communications experience in high-scrutiny industries.
