Salary: $115,000–$184,000 per year

What you will do

• Own and execute the media strategy in Texas to drive proactive coverage and long-term credibility.
• Cultivate and maintain a robust network of reporters across transportation, technology, business, and policy beats.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site media visits in Texas, ensuring a high-quality reporter experience.
• Partner with executive leadership, government relations, and operations to align on messaging and announcements.
• Prepare and train company spokespeople for media interviews and press events.
• Develop press materials, including press releases, briefing documents, and tailored talking points.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in communications (agency or in-house) with a record of driving earned coverage.
• Deep expertise in media relations and an established network of reporters.
• Experience as a company spokesperson and training C-level executives.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear and compelling narratives.
• Experience working cross-functionally to manage multi-stakeholder communications processes.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Dallas, Texas area.

Nice to have

• Experience in autonomous vehicles, transportation, logistics, or technology.
• Crisis communications experience in high-scrutiny industries.
