What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the architecture and design of core platform systems.
• Build and operate scalable data services using Go and AWS (Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3).
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs used by both internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to iteratively prototype and develop new functionality.
• Mentor and coach other engineers to elevate the team's overall technical capability.

Requirements

• Deep experience building operationally stable, scalable, and cost-efficient backend services in Go.
• Proficiency with Cloud Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Must be based in the United States (EST/CST time zones).
• Experience with deployment technologies like GitHub Actions or CircleCI.

Nice to have

• Advanced expertise in AWS DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of application security best practices.
• Experience working with healthcare data and APIs, specifically FHIR and/or TEFCA standards.
