What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of features for the UDS Registry and related tools.
• Collaborate with internal engineers and the open-source community to resolve bugs and feature requests.
• Integrate software products with existing defense systems to ensure security and interoperability.
• Own architecture decisions and maintain high engineering standards across the team.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production environments.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation and user guides.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go programming.
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, databases, and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, OCI specifications, and supply chain security practices.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to CNCF, ASF, or OpenSSF projects.
• Proficiency in additional modern programming languages.
