What you will do

• Define and evolve the architectural vision for customer-facing systems in alignment with business strategy.
• Establish patterns and frameworks to ensure quality, resilience, and operational excellence across the organization.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to align architecture with strategic goals.
• Mentor senior technical leaders, elevating engineering capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Navigate complexity and ambiguity to remove organizational blockers and accelerate strategic initiatives.
• Design systems and team boundaries to support sustainable growth and prioritize non-functional requirements.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong record of group-level technical leadership.
• Expertise in Kotlin, Java, or Go, with deep understanding of system design for scale and performance.
• Experience introducing and scaling shared infrastructure, frameworks, or libraries across multiple teams.
• Proficiency with CI/CD workflows (CircleCI, GitHub), cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes), and observability tools (Datadog).
• Ability to drive architectural clarity and strategic technical alignment across functions.
• Must be based in the US for the stated compensation range.
