TL;DR

Business Analyst Middle (AML): Designing and implementing the AML & Compliance framework for the Colombian market with an accent on regulatory gap analysis and end-to-end compliance architecture. Focus on building transaction monitoring processes, integrating third-party screening tools, and adapting global frameworks for LATAM expansion.

Location: Worldwide. Remote or hybrid (offices in Mexico, Colombia, Cyprus, Serbia). Relocation available to hub locations.

What you will do

• Conduct gap analysis of Colombian regulations to design compliance policies, procedures, and control points.
• Build end-to-end AML processes, including sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting.
• Select and integrate third-party tools for screening and case management, defining technical and data requirements.
• Establish internal governance (RACI), set KPIs, and implement regular reporting and audits.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Engineering teams to ensure audit readiness and product agility.
• Manage discovery, write BRDs/PRDs, and support development, UAT, and releases.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in business analysis or product management within fintech or banking.
• Strong expertise in AML & Compliance (RBA, KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring).
• Proficiency in requirements documentation (BRDs, user stories) and process design (BPMN 2.0, UML).
• Fluent English and readiness to work in a Spanish-speaking environment.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, and basic SQL for data validation.

Nice to have

• Experience launching or localizing compliance frameworks in new jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in roadmapping and prioritization frameworks (RICE, WSJF, MoSCoW).
