Brake Press Technician (Engineering)

Salary: $22/hour (approx. $3,813/month) + $4,000 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, and operate press brakes for forming, bending, punching, and notching.
• Input data into CNC controllers and adjust ram and back gauge locations based on blueprints.
• Perform complex programming for the press brake to produce new parts.
• Use micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers to ensure precision and quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of machines.
• Coordinate with assembly operations to meet customer specifications.

Requirements

• Strong background in metal press forming and basic fabrication.
• Demonstrated competency in blueprint reading and basic shop math.
• Experience with precision measurement tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with overhead cranes.
• Understanding of welding processes and techniques.
• Experience with TWI (Training Within Industry).
