What you will do

• Operate Amada, Cincinnati, and Bystronics press brake machinery.
• Program features including step bends, back gauge transfers, and custom punch/die modifications.
• Interpret complex blueprints and geometric tolerances to ensure finished part accuracy.
• Perform thorough part inspections and remove defective products.
• Calculate material gains and losses while maintaining process efficiency.
• Train less experienced operators and identify areas for waste reduction.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience setting up and operating press brake machines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or refugee/asylee (ITAR compliance).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use measuring instruments like calipers and protractors.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing operating systems.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
