Location: Munich, Germany (Hybrid - remote work option available within Germany)

What you will do

• Perform target screening, market mapping, and longlist creation.
• Analyze companies, competitive landscapes, and industry trends in software, fintech, cybersecurity, and IoT.
• Support valuation work, including trading comparables and precedent transaction analyses.
• Review management presentations, financial models, and due diligence materials to identify risks and value drivers.
• Prepare investment memoranda and decision documents for senior executives.
• Support expert calls, management meetings, and due diligence workstreams.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master student in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience (internship or working student) in M&A, corporate finance, strategy consulting, or VC/startup environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Must remain enrolled in studies for at least 6 months.
• Confident use of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
