What you will do

• Partner with the IT team to provide financial insights and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes for the IT department.
• Evaluate IT and digital investment initiatives by providing transparency on costs, benefits, and KPIs.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators and cost drivers to identify trends and risks.
• Prepare dashboards, management reports, and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in reporting and controlling workflows.

Requirements

• Degree or dual degree in IT, Controlling, Economics, or relevant professional experience in Finance.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Very good Excel skills and experience in developing management reports and dashboards.
• Fluent in English required; German language skills are considered a plus.
• Proactive and collaborative working style with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Previous focus on IT or digital controlling.
