What you will do
- Partner with Accommodations, Product, and Commercial teams to set negotiation strategies and deliver priority partner agreements.
- Lead the drafting and negotiation of complex, high-value commercial agreements with strategic Accommodation Partners.
- Build and optimize scalable contracting frameworks, playbooks, and approval processes to increase speed and risk control.
- Act as the primary legal advisor for contracting matters, coordinating input from privacy, competition, tax, and regulatory specialists.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes to translate them into actionable guidance and updated contract positions.
- Drive continuous improvement of legal operations through the use of contracting technology and AI tools.
Requirements
- Qualified to practice law in the EU, UK, or US.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Proven expertise in commercial contracting and the accommodations sector.
- Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Skill in utilizing legal tech tools such as Google Suite, Jira, and AI tools.
Nice to have
- Dutch legal qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in competition law.
