Executive Director, Product Manager (Automotive)

Location: Must be based in Novi, MI (Office 3 days per week)

Salary: $210,000 - $308,000

What you will do

• Define overall product strategy, roadmaps, and business models for future generations of hirify.global-branded sound systems.
• Lead and manage a global 50+ member Product Management and Engineering Delivery team.
• Translate consumer insights and technology roadmaps into system definitions, MRD, and PRDs with prioritized features.
• Identify Go-To-Market strategies and brand value propositions for audio systems across major OEM partners.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure rapid time-to-market and optimal resource allocation.
• Develop core value propositions and brand positioning for diverse audio system portfolios.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Product Development.
• 10+ years of experience in Automotive or Consumer Software/Hardware/Audio/Connectivity.
• Experience with audio sound system hardware/software, IoT, and connected system architecture design.
• Proven success managing B2B or B2B2C products.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic and international).

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Entrepreneurial experience or strong technical background in software development.
• 3+ years of experience in sound software (voice, audio, noise management) and wearable connectivity.
• Senior Pre-Sales or Business Development experience.
• Appreciation for UX and design.
