Validation Engineer (Analog/Mixed-Signal ICs)

What you will do

• Lead the bench validation activity of silicon ICs during product development.
• Develop detailed post-Si characterization plans and collaborate with design, systems, and test teams.
• Design and develop schematics and layouts of validation boards.
• Create and automate bench setups to streamline characterization and validation.
• Perform system-level and parametric tests, debugging device- and setup-related issues.
• Maintain lab operation, documentation, and ensure readiness for IATF audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in validation of silicon ICs.
• Hands-on experience with bench automation languages: Python (preferred), LabVIEW, and TestStand.
• Experience with PCB hardware design and layout using KiCAD or Altium.
• Proficiency with laboratory bench equipment and embedded systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Spotfire.

Nice to have

• Experience with power devices such as DC-DC converters and eFuses.
• Knowledge of lab operation, ESD control, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
