What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop REST and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Contribute to frontend experiences using React and React Native.
• Build and maintain cloud-native distributed systems on AWS using Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement automated tests and secure coding practices to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers in an Agile environment to deliver customer value.

Requirements

• Commercial experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Proficiency in AWS and cloud-native development practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of React for modern web application development.
• Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
• Experience working in Agile product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP or Java.
• Background in financial services, trading, or investment platforms.
• Experience with React Native for mobile development.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tooling.
