What you will do

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex technical solutions across datacentre automation and connectivity.
• Drive best practices in agility, TDD, deployment pipelines, and containerisation.
• Act as a technical lead and coach for the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and quality.
• Break down complex business requirements into well-defined specifications and actionable user stories.
• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring alignment with architecture and security standards.
• Collaborate within cross-functional squads to resolve inter-system issues and improve developer productivity.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Ipswich, UK.
• At least 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong experience in full-stack development using Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Proven experience in leading end-to-end technical delivery of large, complex projects.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts, automated pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Familiarity with VMWare/Broadcom ecosystem.
• Experience with ELK Stack and messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of API security protocols such as OIDC and OAuth2.
