Lead Project Engineer (Offshore Island Project)

Location: Based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; relocation to the Spain office followed by a return to Abu Dhabi is required.

What you will do

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout the execute phase of an offshore oil and gas project.
• Manage engineering deliverables across process, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and HSE disciplines.
• Review EPC contractor engineering activities, technical documents, design philosophies, reports, and deliverable status.
• Coordinate interfaces with ADNOC Offshore, contractors, vendors, and third-party stakeholders.
• Monitor engineering progress, milestones, risks, deviations, schedule, and cost-related matters.
• Support HAZID, HAZOP, constructability, change-management, HSE, quality, reporting, and corrective-action activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or equivalent Engineering; a master’s degree is advantageous.
• Minimum 18 years of overall experience in the oil and gas sector.
• At least 5–7 years of experience in offshore execute or detailed engineering projects.
• 12–15+ years of experience in oil and gas project engineering.
• Experience with process, storage, and export facilities relevant to offshore island activities.
• Prior PMC or ADNOC Offshore project experience is highly preferred.
