What you will do
- Design and implement physical data models in Snowflake, focusing on scalability and performance.
- Translate conceptual and logical models into Snowflake-ready schemas, tables, and views.
- Collaborate with data engineers to refine ETL/ELT processes and integration patterns.
- Align models and metadata with governance standards using tools like Collibra.
- Ensure all modeling and transformation logic is thoroughly documented for compliance.
- Support performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in Snowflake physical data modeling and SQL.
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0 is a must.
- Experience with metadata and data governance platforms, ideally Collibra.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Matillion, or Fivetran.
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences data and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with data quality tools like Ataccama.
