What you will do

  • Design and implement physical data models in Snowflake, focusing on scalability and performance.
  • Translate conceptual and logical models into Snowflake-ready schemas, tables, and views.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to refine ETL/ELT processes and integration patterns.
  • Align models and metadata with governance standards using tools like Collibra.
  • Ensure all modeling and transformation logic is thoroughly documented for compliance.
  • Support performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in Snowflake physical data modeling and SQL.
  • Experience with Data Vault 2.0 is a must.
  • Experience with metadata and data governance platforms, ideally Collibra.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Matillion, or Fivetran.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences data and regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools like Ataccama.
