What you will do

• Lead architecture reviews, workshops, and technical design sessions with engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
• Design end-to-end platform architectures integrating Airflow with cloud infrastructure, compute frameworks, and data platforms.
• Review delivery work to ensure high standards for scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues, guiding customers through deployments and platform modernization.
• Develop reusable tools, frameworks, and reference architectures to improve delivery quality across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or solution architecture.
• Expertise in Airflow: authoring/deploying DAGs, monitoring execution, and troubleshooting failures.
• Experience tuning Airflow performance, refactoring DAG code, and right-sizing infrastructure.
• Strong background in designing cloud-native data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, BigQuery, or Redshift.
