What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Rust.
• Build asynchronous application components and robust relational data models.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production code.
• Contribute to frontend applications developed with Vue.js and Angular.
• Support AWS Glue pipelines and related ETL or data-processing activities.
• Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions, and code reviews.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Solid production experience developing applications or services in Rust.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals (API design, async programming, automated testing).
• Willingness to contribute to frontend development and learn new tools quickly.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Barcelona, Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern SPA frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.
• Proficiency with AWS services and AWS Glue.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Previous experience working in a polyglot engineering environment.
