What you will do

• Engineer scalable and resilient back-end systems using Node.js and Rust running on AWS.
• Drive the overall technical vision and direction of the platform.
• Mentor engineers and serve as a role model for the developer community.
• Develop strategies to reduce complexity and ensure system efficiency.
• Collaborate with an autonomous metrics-driven team to deliver solutions aligned with long-term product visions.
• Lead the transition toward an event-driven, serverless architecture.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience developing web-based services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, or Python.
• Proven ability to design highly scalable and resilient cloud services on AWS.
• Experience in technical leadership roles such as Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, or Technical Architect.
• Proven experience introducing and scaling AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Experience working with stateless, highly transactional end-user products.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Barcelona, Spain.
