Investments Product Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Investments Product Manager (Fintech): Shaping, governing and developing the authorised fund range and Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) with an accent on regulatory compliance and customer value. Focus on owning the product approval process, conducting Fair Value Assessments under Consumer Duty, and leading a product support team.

Location: Hybrid (London or Manchester), minimum 50% of working time per month spent in the office

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team supporting the hirify.global Investments product range.
• Own the product approval process for new funds, share classes, and Managed Portfolio Service launches.
• Design and review investment products to ensure alignment with customer needs, commercial goals, and regulatory requirements.
• Produce Fair Value Assessments in line with Consumer Duty and monitor customer outcomes via KPIs.
• Collaborate with Investment Management, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to maintain high governance standards.
• Analyze competitor activity and market developments to strengthen the product proposition.

Requirements

• At least five years' experience in investment product management, product development, or fund governance.
• Level 4 investment qualification (e.g., IMC, CISI Diploma or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of the FCA Handbook (COLL, COBS, SYSC) and practical experience applying Consumer Duty.
• Deep understanding of authorised funds, Managed Portfolio Services, and discretionary investment management.
• Proven experience in people leadership or team management.
• Ability to prepare complex governance papers and regulatory documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with UK investment platforms and platform due diligence.
• Knowledge of fund data distribution.
• Exposure to passive investing, retirement solutions, or responsible investing.
• Experience with Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR).
