TL;DR
Senior Payments Analyst (Fintech): Owning the payments reporting layer and optimizing payment processing performance with an accent on transactional data analysis and revenue scaling. Focus on building end-to-end analytics solutions, defining core payment metrics, and driving experimentation across payment methods and routing.
Location: Hybrid (office encouraged, 2 remote days/week) with a WFA (Work From Anywhere) policy allowing work from almost anywhere in the world.
Salary: 4000-5500 EUR/month gross

What you will do
- Own payments analytics across the full lifecycle, from checkout and authorization to refunds and chargebacks.
- Collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate complex business questions into actionable analyses.
- Design and build end-to-end analytics solutions, including data models, metric definitions, and dashboards.
- Define and maintain core payments metrics such as approval rates, decline reasons, and fraud signals.
- Drive experimentation and analysis around payment methods, routing, PSP performance, and checkout UX.
- Proactively identify insights, risks, and opportunities that impact revenue, costs, and customer experience.
Requirements
- Deep domain expertise in payments, billing lifecycle, or fraud & risk analytics.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale event-level datasets.
- Proficiency with modern analytics stacks including dbt, Looker/Tableau, and Git.
- Solid understanding of experimentation, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and causal thinking.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into structured analytical workstreams.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex findings and drive business decisions.
