What you will do

• Manage data acquisition, cleansing, and processing workflows to ensure accurate and validated datasets.
• Conduct primary research interviews with industry contacts and synthesize findings into market analysis.
• Perform secondary research using trade journals, public reports, and financial releases for market intelligence.
• Develop advanced templates and workbooks for data aggregation using Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Build and refine comprehensive base data and market models with clear documentation of assumptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research efforts with project goals and client expectations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in research, data analysis, or related roles.
• Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and content preparation.
• Experience using data tools such as Python, SQL, and Excel for collection and visualization.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder reporting.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Penang office (Hybrid setup)
